Here's my baby
A Reporter PM - purchased May 28, 2007 at the LV Fairfax Square Store in Virginia. The site's desciption: "Inspired by photographer bags, the smallest bag of the Reporter collection offers intelligent organization with two patch pockets and a comfortable adjustable canvas strap. I chose this bag for its versatility and functionality. The two roomy compartments affords me to demarcate my bag contents. Who am I kidding? I chose it because it's FABULOSO!!! I like the way the canvas hugs my hips as I trot down the street. It moves with my body and is the keeper of all my goodies. Saw a couple of guys staring at me, probably wondering what I was doing with it. But I don't care. I luv it!
Inspired by...Abaete
Becki Newton wore this ruffled Abaete dress to an All Star party in LA awhile ago. (Photo credit: People.com) I was unable to find the retail price of this exact dress, but Abaete will run you about $400+.
Now, this dress by Donna Morgan isn't exactly like the Abaete dress above...it has a belt for starters (although it's removable), and it also has a extra ruffle. But, it reminded me of the dress Becki Newton is wearing above, so I thought it would make a good "inspired by" find. It's currently on sale for $72 at Dillards and you can click the photo below to purchase.

Palermo and Tivoli
Two days from now and these new additions will be released and scores of LV LVoers will be rushing to their stores to grab hold of one. I was in LV the other day and my LVoely SA showed me the new cruise line Speedy and the affordable alternative Griet with the regular vachetta. They didn't tempt me at all to put down my credit card but am sure they will get into the arms of fashionistas somehow.
