Experimenting with stocking fabric in 1992, Melbourne designer Melma Hamersfeld transformed one stretchy piece of material into a concept for the international fashion brand - Metalicus.
As the brand has developed, so has the product offering and today our collection includes Cotton, Wool and Bodytight. In 2003, Mini and Miss Metalicus arrived with the concept of 'stretch as you grow' to cater for tots and tweens.
