I spotted these in the windows of Barneys New York and I thought they were great. They are an obvious update of both the Hermès Bolide and Plume. The crocodile is embossed calfskin, but looks very realistic. I think it is nice that Azzedine Alaia is updating this very French look with a new twist. Prices are approximately 1700 to 2200 USD.
