In a positive thinking mood, Hermès has taken a long drive from Madison Avenue to East Hampton. Perhaps an auspicious time to open their first outlet in the tony Hamptons, I applaud their effort to keep Luxury at the fingertips of the swell East End inhabitants. The all white simplified interior is a nod to the nearby beach. You never know when you will need a better beach towel or even a new $4000 bicycle---what better way to get to Two Mile Hollow Beach?
