The Schott Perfecto

I thought I would start with the iconic original. I located a retailer in NYC who carries the classic Schott Perfecto and I tried one on. The jacket seemed to fit properly. Eureka! But, when I looked at my profile, I realized that the gusseted sleeves and the deep armholes were a problem. The waist was tight and firm, but the shoulders and arms were overwhelming me. I am sure the current production model has been altered from its original design to accommodate bulkier physiques. Back to the drawing board and more options this week. Slim, slim, slim!
