Why should everyday items be mundane? This Bottega Veneta Medium Cosmetic case is large enough to hold all my essentials, from moisturizer to eye cream, yet is small enough to fit in my day bag. Matita means graphite or pencil lead in Italian and refers to the fact that this charcoal colored goatskin is embedded with mica in the tanning process, resulting in this shimmering beauty. The copper zipper is unexpected and adds to the overall effect. This handwoven piece is remarkably flexible, yet because it is goatskin, it is scratch and water resistant.
